Who can apply

Indian citizen aged 18 years or more.
A valid Telecentre Entrepreneur Course (TEC) certificate, or selection under a specific scheme such as SHG.
A computer with UPS, printer, scanner, web camera and internet, as listed by CSC.
Keep the centre open from 8 am to 8 pm at a public place.

How to apply

Register free at register.csc.gov.in with Aadhaar, photo, ID and address proof, and a cancelled cheque or passbook.
CSC says registration is free and you should not pay anyone for verification or ID activation; report demands to vigilance@csc.gov.in or 14599.
The CSC ID usually takes about 2 weeks after verification. Ex-servicemen can also register through DGR.
