Who can apply

  • Aadhaar, PAN/TAN and GST (if applicable), partnership deed or proprietorship affidavit, bank certificate, ITR and a list of assets
  • A season-wise sales commitment for one year
  • Earnest money deposit: ₹1 lakh (general), ₹50,000 (special category), ₹25,000 (reserved category); refunded if not selected, otherwise converted into a security deposit
  • An exclusive retailer must sell at least 300 tonnes of urea and 200 tonnes of other products a year

How to apply

  1. NFL assesses vacancies area by area; the zonal office then advertises them in local newspapers and on the NFL website.
  2. Download the application form from the NFL website (Annex DA-1 for wholesale dealer, NERA-1 for exclusive retailer); forms are free.
  3. Submit it with the documents and the earnest money deposit at the NFL area office within 21 days of the advertisement.
  4. An area-office committee checks documents, visits applicants and calls eligible ones for interview.
